a glimpse of spring

A Glimpse of Spring?

What a pleasure to be out and about for the last couple of days.  Roll on spring I say!

Friday was spent as usual cycling with a variety of dogs;  The morning was spent with Nero and Jessie going up and down the canal towpaths for 6 miles around Byfleet.   Then in the afternoon I was up at Wimbledon common with Amelia and half a dozen dogs covering a total of 6 or 7 miles.  But what a mess the common is in.  Mud and water everywhere, yukkk!  Hope it starts to dry out soon….

This morning did my usual 10 mile stint around the roads of Shirley, West Wickham, Beckenham and Penge with Dukie; And the afternoon I met up with a client, Rebecca and her Cocker Spaniel, Lily at Horsell common near Woking to do some further work on Lily’s aggression towards other dogs.  All very pleasant due to the improved weather conditions and a successful session with Lily, who remained much calmer and was well behaved throughout the whole time we were out.  Very pleased with Rebecca, she did incredibly well!

Tomorrow, another bike ride round Richmond park for a couple of hours, starting from Richmond Hill car park at 10.30am.  Then I’ve an appointment with 2 Chihuahuas in the afternoon, another case of dog on dog aggression…and the weather forecast is reasonably favourable again.
